This guide explains how to connect your Salesforce account to Astra. Once connected, you can use Salesforce actions - such as creating or updating contacts - directly within your Astra workflows.
How the connection works
When connecting your Salesforce account to Astra:
You sign in to your Salesforce account.
You authorize Astra to access your Salesforce org (organization).
Permissions are granted securely without sharing your login credentials.
Instructions
Follow these steps to connect your Salesforce account:
Step 1: Open a Salesforce action
Log into your Astra account.
Go to the Action Library.
Select a Salesforce template (for example, Create or update contact).
Note:
If no account is connected, a connection pop-up will appear.
If you already have connected accounts, click Add account on the configuration page to connect another one.
Step 2: Start the connection
Click Connect your Salesforce account.
A new authentication page will open.
Step 3: Enter connection details
You will need to provide the following:
Instance Endpoint
The default value is:
/services/data/v61.0
In most cases, you do not need to change this.
Salesforce Subdomain
Open your Salesforce account.
Click your profile avatar.
Copy your domain (for example:
orgfarm-xxxxxxxxxx-dev-ed.develop.my).Paste it into the Salesforce Subdomain field.
Step 4: Authorize access
On the next screen, click Allow.
This grants Astra permission to access your Salesforce account.
Step 5: Complete the setup
Once authorization is complete, close the authentication page.
Return to Astra.
You will be redirected to the action configuration screen, where:
Your newly connected Salesforce account will appear in the account list.
You can start using it immediately in your workflows.
