Follow these steps to set up Astra with Google Tag Manager:

Step 1: Log in to Google Tag Manager

Step 2: Create a new tag

  • In the left navigation, click Tags.

  • Click New.

  • Under Tag Configuration, click the Edit (pen) icon.

  • Choose Custom HTML.

Step 3: Add your Astra code

  • In a new tab, log in to your Astra Dashboard.

  • Click Share and then Copy Code.

  • Return to Google Tag Manager and paste the copied code into the Custom HTML field under Tag Configuration.

Step 4: Set up a trigger

  • Under Triggering, click the Edit (pen) icon.

  • Select All Pages as the trigger.

  • Click Add.

Step 5: Save and publish your tag

  • Provide a name for your tag, then click Save.

  • On the Google Tag Manager homepage, click Submit.

  • Add a Version Name and an optional description.

  • Click Publish.

Step 6: Verify installation

Refresh your website - you should now see the Astra widget appear.
